Basically we run an honest and upfront business.
We don't have any hidden costs, and we don't try to trick you into spending your money. What you see is what you get. That's probably why we have been around for 17 years.

Not all websites are created equal. Why such price variances?

GREED (Some people do crazy things for money. They will try to cheat you if they can. DON'T LET THEM!). We won't cheat you or try to trick you....GUARANTEED!!!

HIGH OVERHEAD (High priced webmasters, servers, shareholders, huge expense accounts, bad money management, the list goes on and on). We keep our overhead as low as possible. We don't have any employees and we don't rent retail or storage space.

GIMMICKS

Bait & Switch They advertise a product at a unrealistically low price. You go there to buy it and "Sorry, we are sold out". But they managed to get you there, now they hope you'll buy something else that they have, usually at an inflated price. Ya right....see ya.

Shipping Rip offs Primarily sites will draw you in with a low price and slam you on shipping and handling. Handling? WHAT IS THAT????? It's a joke, that's what it is. You will never pay a handling fee if you buy anything from us. A few cents for packing materials are added. That's it. Some of our items ship for $1.00. Where have you ever heard of something like that? Then you have these places that base the shipping charges on the total amount of the sale. What a joke that is. A diamond ring weighs nothing and a TV could weigh over 50 pounds. Is that fair? NO WAY. Or better yet, the places that charge a percentage of the sale for shipping, yes, take a percentage of that diamond ring and add that for shipping. Is that fair?.....Gimme a break. Jack's Lure House charges by weight and the USPS Rate charts. Items are repackaged so we add a little for the packaging. This is fair to all, no one is penalized. And our shipping charges are always low as possible. We take pride in the fact that we have never had any complaints about the way we operate.

Recent ploy that drives me nuts is when you put the product in your cart, if you were lucky enough to find the price of it. Go to check out, where is the shipping? First you have to put your private information on their server, then you get the shipping cost, which is usually rediculously high. Everything is so sneaky. Doesn't seem clean to me. We don't do that! You will see the cost of an item and the shipping cost of that same item listed on the same page throughout this website. Everything is on the table. It can get a little confusing when you order more than one item. I wish there was a simple way to figure that all out, but all I can say is......hit the "contact us", post your order in the message box, enter your telephone number, and we will call you with a grand total.

It's called customer friendly service.

Our customers appreciate our commitment to live customer service. Jack's Lure House believes that the Internet should not be a cold "self-service or no-service" wasteland. Instead, we offer a satisfying, rewarding, service-rich experience founded on customer interaction with the owners of the company. Some e-commerce sites barely return e-mails, much less pick up a call with a real human being, but we don't believe that is the way to build customer satisfaction and repeat business. Jack's Lure House wants to prove that the Internet does not have to mean poor service.
